AFT CARGO DOOR
The aft cargo door is optimized to handle cargo from multi-modal sources. The 747-400 can accommodate all 3 meter (10 foot) high US and European pallets used in road transport. The freighter will handle most rail car loads. Ocean intermodal industry standard containers can all be accommodated as well.
Only the 747-400 can carry 12 meter (40 foot) long sea/air containers.
