Accept live animal bookings for air transportation in compliance with IATA Live Animal Regulations, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species and European Council 01/2005;
Send all necessary documents to the shipper or his authorized agent for completion;
Check the handling and transportation processes for special needs of each species and shipment and eliminate any potential risk that could occur
Make advance arrangements at the airport of destination for the delivery and quarantine if necessary;
Make sure that the animals are kept within an appropriate temperature-controlled environment from the pre-flight storage facility or onboard the freighter;
Set the booking and the cargo loading process of the live animal on high priority to ensure the shortest possible transit times and protect the welfare of the animal.
Required Skills
Candidate with 3+ years of proven experience in the aviation industry;
Excellent communication skills;
Conceptual thinking, systematic approach and analytical skills;
Ability to gather and analyze complex data;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications especially MS Excel;
Excellent Business English (verbal and written).
