Main Duties

  • Develop and provide Head of Sales Germany with proposals on the Group's air services sales strategy
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets
  • Participate in development of the Group's and the Company's mission, goals, and strategy under his/her functions
  • Be responsible for the sales and revenue results within assigned and agreed area
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Develop, coordinate and execute business-plans and business-projects of the Company and the Group
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

Required Skills 

  • Previous experience in cargo airline / freight forwarding industry essential
  • Previous experience in sales and marketing
  • Ability to perform structured, analytical, and autonomous work
  • Completed apprenticeship or equivalent education in the freight-forwarding / airline industry
  • Fluent German & English (verbal and written)
  • Superior communication skills
  • Profound understanding of principles and methods of sales, pricing, and market dynamics
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team
  • Ability to work under time constraints with tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Results-oriented
  • Software knowledge (f.e. MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Cargo-Spot)
