Emirates SkyCargo and AirBridgeCargo signed a co-operation agreement. The agreement would allow ABC to connect several destinations in the Middle East, India and some countries in Africa using Emirates’ route network.

AirBridgeCargo increased its IL-76 flight frequencies to Sakhalin to twice weekly and opened a representative office on the island. The launch of the second service from Krasnoyarsk to Sakhalin supported increased demand for deliveries of equipment for oil and gas companies operating in the region.

AirBridgeCargo Airlines delivers stage equipment for Madonna's tour from Moscow to Japan as part of her ‘Confessions Tour’. Her performance in Russia on 12th September took place at Moscow’s Stadium Luzhniki. The total weight of the cargo was 193 tons.
October 2006
On 18th October, AirBridgeCargo received its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) confirming the airline's authorization to operate Boeing 747 aircraft and offer commercial air services. The new airline's establishment was thus legally finalized.
