AirBridgeCargo Airlines, part of Volga Dnepr Group, has taken part in the largest logistics exhibition and conference - Transport Logistic/Air Cargo Europe 2013, which took place at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany on June 4-7.

This year the event attracted a record number of visitors – more than 53,000 people went to see the exhibition and 55% of these were international business people from outside of Germany, including a record growth in the number of visitors from China, France, Russia, and Turkey. The event was once again also strongly supported by the air cargo and logistics industry in Germany.

The significance of Transport Logistic/Air Cargo Europe, which takes place every two years in the capital of Bavaria, was underlined by the Minister of Transport of Germany, Dr. Peter Ramsauer at the opening ceremony when he said: “This is a global gathering because logistics is the flywheel of the economy, not just in Germany. This trade show has proven to be a real engine for growth."

The supporting programme during the exhibition, with the participation of industry leaders, has become a mirror of trends happening in the logistics industry. Interest was especially high in international themes, including the country specials on the up-and-coming markets of Russia and Asia, and the implementation of new innovations and IT in the industry.

"AirBridgeCargo Airlines has been participating in Air Cargo Europe for many years. As the leader in the Russian schedule air cargo services market, participation in such an exhibition is a must for us because this is the right place to meet with our existing and potential customers to discuss further steps we can take together to increase business profitability and the quality of the services we provide,” said Tatyana Arslanova, Vice President of AirBridgeCargo Airlines. She added: “Europe is one of our key markets, and this exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to find new business opportunities."

The next Air Cargo Europe will take place on May 9-11, 2015 in Munich.
