13.08.2012 | PERSONNEL CHANGE IN AIRBRIDGECARGO ASIA AND PACIFIC REGION

Today, Russian based AirBridgeCargo Airlines, LLC (ABC) announced the resignation of Mr. Robert Song as VP Asia and Pacific region. As of September, 1st 2012 Robert will be leaving the company – a decision mutually agreed by both parties.

Volga-Dnepr Group and ABC would like to thank Robert for his seven years of hard work during which he took up the challenging positions of VP Asia and Pacific, and Commercial Director Global. He took part in the realization of projects contributing to ABC’s development in Mainland China and led the region in a very competent manner. Robert will stay on as an Advisor to the company to help facilitate the transition process to his successor Ms. Joanna Li.

In his departure statement Robert highlighted, “I am very proud to be part of the team that has contributed to the success of ABC since its small beginning in 2004. In a few years’ time, ABC has grown from one single 747-200 aircraft to its current fleet of eleven, all 747-400 plus the brand new 747-8 series – a carrier with firm market standing and reputation. It has been a privilege for me to have worked for ABC over the past 7 years, and to be given the opportunity to lead a very strong and capable team in Asia.”

The management team in Volga-Dnepr Group and ABC again expresses its sincere appreciation of Robert’s contribution and excellent work and wish him success in his future professional path.

ABC has appointed Ms. Joanna Li as Regional Director, Asia and Pacific as successor of Mr. Robert Song. Joanna has over 15 years of industry experience and is currently the General Manager, Hong Kong and S.E. Asia. Joanna has held various management positions in the airport in the fields of catering and terminal operations, before joining ABC in 2008. In the past four years she has demonstrated the track record of a talented and highly responsible manager capable of coping with enlarged responsibilities and overcoming severe market conditions. We also wish Joanna an enriching future as the Regional Director, Asia and Pacific.
