Document for import

1. Contract (original + 2 copies stamped by the consignee’s company) executed in accordance with “Requirements to contract”.

2. Copy of import’s passport deal certified by the bank + copy certified by the buyer.

3. Shipping documentation for arriving shipment, invoice with banking details of the seller, buyer, contract number, pricing characteristics of the goods, conditions of delivery (all information shall coincide with terms and conditions of the contract.

4. Translation of invoice, arriving with the shipment. (stamped by the company).

5. Certificates, licenses, and other authorization documents (if needed).

6. Original of payment receipt for customs payments or any other document authorizing customs payment.

7. Information about package, weight and number of pieces.

8. Other documents under terms and conditions of the contract and delivery.

For example:
  • document about insurance of shipment;
  • document about pre-payment;
  • others.
9. Documents to authorize customs value:
 
  • transportation and insurance documents, if any, subject to terms of delivery;
  • invoice for transportation and calculation of transportation charges if they are not included in invoice.

Customs authorities may ask for additional information such as:

  • customs declaration from the country of origin certified by the shipper;
  • contract with third parties related to the deal;
  • invoices for payments to third parties;
  • invoices for commissions, broker services related to deal;
  • accounting documentation;
  • license agreement;
  • export (import) license;
  • warehouse receipts;
  • purchase order;
  • catalogues, specifications, price lists of manufacturer;
  • calculation of manufacturer for the goods (if the company agrees to present it to the Russian buyer);
  • commercial, customs and payment documents related to deals with similar goods, invoices, air waybills, calculation, price list of the manufacturer.
  • other documents that can be used to authorize information specified in customs declaration (value). 
Documents for export

1. Contract (original + 2 copies, stamped by the buyer’s company) executed in accordance with “Requirements to contract”, marked by bank. 

2. Passport deal, original + copy stamped by the company. 

3. Invoice sent with shipment, stamped by the company with banking details of the seller, buyer, number of the contract, pricing characteristics of the goods, terms and conditions of delivery (all information shall coincide with terms and conditions of the contract) - (7 pcs.)

4. Translation of invoice, if it is made in foreign language, stamped by the company.

5. CARNET TIR.

6. Certificates, licenses, or other authorization documents (if needed).

7. Documents, confirming right of ownership for the shipment (copy, stamped by the company).

8. Documents, confirming origin of goods (certificates, quality certification, etc. certified copies).

9. Documents to confirm customs value:
 
  • contract confirming goods purchase at the territory of the Russian Federation;
  • copies of invoices, proforma-invoices received by the company-owner from the company-seller. Copies of the said documents are to be signed by the Head or chief accountant of the company-owner, and stamped by the company. Copies of the documents provided by the private entrepreneur – owner are to be signed by the said person with details of certificate of state registration for private entrepreneur;
  • in the event shipment is customs cleared in accordance with export customs regime by the company-owner, and manufacturing of these goods is the main activity for this company, invoices and proforma-invoices shall not be provided. The owner of the exported goods shall provide the document confirming origin of goods;
  • calculation of the goods’ manufacturer for the goods of the Russian origin (for exporters – manufacturers);
  • import Cargo Customs Declaration with the contract, invoice, payment documents related to the goods of foreign origin;
  • calculation of works (services), if the goods have been modified, with confirmation of materials’ purchase (for exporters – manufacturers);
  • detailed technical description for production goods, equipment, etc.;
  • decisions of Federal executive bodies, the Russian Federation, essential under current laws of the Russian Federation;
  • documents, confirming payment under purchase contract on the territory of Russia, and statement from account;
  • in case the exporter is not the manufacturer (importer) the chain of contracts, invoices and payment documents from the manufacturer (importer) till the point of exporter is to be submitted;
  • in case the goods are shipped from the territory of Russia for the address of third party documentary confirmation of the Buyer’s instruction shall be submitted (provided there are no other terms in sale/purchase agreement);
  • information of bookkeeping for the exported goods, authorized by tax authorities;
  • conclusion of the Chief customs laboratory;
  • other documents to confirm customs value.

11. In case of export duties – original of payment receipt for customs duties.

12. Information about package, weight and number of pieces.

13. Other documents under terms and conditions of the contract and delivery.
